MARSH BLAZING STAR. Native American wildflower.Dense spikes of tiny purple-pink flowers that bloom from the top down. The foliage is narrow, growing from each stem. Very similar to Liatris pycnostachya or Prairie Blazing Star. Will grow in heavy soils. Attracts birds, butterflies, bees. The showy purple feather like flowers can grow up to 5ft tall.
