- Coreopsis tinctoria is a self sowing annual that is best suited for making teas, dyes and as a cut flower for floral arrangements. It grows in a variety of climates.
- Red Dwarf Plains Coreopsis flowers are edible and can be used for tea-making. The beverage functions as a coffee substitute!
- The flowers are deer-resistant and will attract butterflies to butterfly gardens. The dwarf flowers are low lying, growing up to 15 inches tall and bloom beginning in April, on through the end of the fall season.
Germination Instructions: Gently press seeds unto a moist soil surface, only letting them settle to 1/16th of an inch depth, in temperatures around 60-70 degrees. Water with a gentle pour or a mister so the seeds will not sink down. Keep seeds and soil moist throughout the germination phase (up to 30 days).

The size is too small. Package arrived.
Super cool set, fit perfectly in length. Made beautiful compositions in 3 vases at home. Came packed in a sealed bag with air, dangled freely-did not break, did not crumpled. A little crumbles, like all dry flowers. Very satisfied with the order.
It's okay. Crumbles, of course, but this is a dry color, so there is no way without it.
They are super beautiful and have arrived more than a month in advance.
